Approved requests from families, teachers, schools, libraries, shelters, hospitals, and community organizations are thoughtfully fulfilled.
Book selection is based on age, inventory, and program needs. Requests may be partially fulfilled, combined, waitlisted, or declined.

Which book will be given?
A Shine On Adventures title will be matched to the reader’s age, request, available inventory, and program needs. The collection will continue to grow.
Will every request be fulfilled?
We hope to help as many young readers as possible, but fulfillment is not guaranteed. Requests are reviewed to protect the program from misuse and stretch available books as far as possible.
Which purchases qualify?
Eligible new paperback and hardcover books in the Show Up More collection qualify while the initiative is active, including individual Show Up More titles and What Color Is Your Lighthouse? Ebooks, used books, returns, and canceled orders do not qualify.
Who can request books?
Anyone may request books for a child, family, classroom, library, shelter, hospital, or community. You do not need to represent an organization.
